A tool for every knitter, machine knitter, or knitting machine owner!
Bodkin comes in 2 sizes: standard and bulky gauge
Bodkin (Bond 2 eye tool) Needle is great for sewing up. But is very useful for transferring stitches from main bed to ribber or ribber to main bed!
- To use:
- Lift stitch from main bed with eye on one end.
- Allow stitch to slide to center of the needle.
- Use the other eye on the other end of the needle to place stitch on ribber.
- (you can reverse to move stitches from ribber to main bed, as well.)
Great for creating reverse knitting (purl pattern) on the plain knit backgrounds. Following a chart, move purl stitches to ribber knit one row, refer to chart. Knit stitches move to or remain on main bed, purl stitches move to or remain on ribber.
Use for stitching seams, weaving in ends, and 1x1 cable twists.
