This CD has all three demonstration/trial programs: Sweater Design; Basic Design: people clothes, Doll clothes, Dog coats or dog sweaters; Stuffed animal clothes; and Skirt, Shawl, and Afghan Design.

Plus the CD contains all the manuals; Installation Notes; Demonstration/Trial version tutorial; Getting Started Guide; KW install guide.

Once installed, if you wish to purchase, simply order online or by telephone, unlock code/s will be emailed to you and the installed program will be fully functional!

THAT’S RIGHT!!! no need to purchase separate disks, no need to uninstall or install a separate program!

Knitware is legacy software, and is best used in Windows XP. Unfortunately, it works on Mac only through Windows emulation programs. I've had great success installing the programs with Windows 7 64bit using a virtual window. Link to my page.

I've used this program since DOS version. It is my favorite for creating new sweaters with "impulse purchased yarns" and using up leftover yarns.

The trial Knitware programs are true trials, not "canned" demos - you have almost all of the functionality of the full programs available to you.

You can create complete custom patterns that you can hand knit, machine knit, or crochet.

The only limitations of the trial programs are the following:

Designer data cannot be defined.
Custom sizes cannot be created, but all standard sizes are available and you can still customize any pattern you create for a standard size.
Pattern data cannot be stored (Saved) in the internal database for re-use, but all patterns - and their schematics - can be saved in external programs for you to use as you wish, even if you do not purchase the programs. (Copyright restrictions do still apply, however)
Graph paper creation is not enabled, but all schematics can be saved and/or printed with the gauge-accurate graphic grids superimposed on the pattern diagrams.
The Round Yoke Calculator is not enabled.
