You are more than welcome to try out a demo copy of MyThreadBox
- demos will match up to 24 input colors before dying
- neither version prints any reports
- the pro version also has a limit on the amount of thread numbers that can be store in your 'MyThread' stash database
- other than those limits, the demos are identical to the real, production copies. We belIeve in letting you have a good look at what it is that you will be buying.
These demo files are provided as WinZip self-extracting files that will open up into a standard Windows-compliant installer (including uninstall when needed)
- they are also small enough to fit onto a floppy disk (as they come off web - before installation) so you can pass them around to friends or install on different computer.
Most browsers work about the same,
so we will give you generic installation instructions for web files:
- Click on the link for the version you wish
- When asked what to do with file, choose 'save'
- Be sure to note where you save it (In which folder.)
- Run the file you just downloaded - as the installer fetches the rest of itself from a hidden place on website, you MUST keep your internet connection open to finish install
- Follow the instructions on-screen as the installer will more or less run itself
- After install is finished, you will have a choice on your 'Start/Programs' menu for MyThreadBox
- Once into the demo version of the software, you can click on the 'help' button at any time

In order to simplify the update/upgrade jungle, we have implemented a 'lifetime upgrade pass' for owners of older MyThreadBox installs and a new 'Premuim Version' for new purchasers that allows for FREE product upgrades for life.
We should break down the difference between updates and upgrades to clarify all of this
- UPDATES are additions to thread palettes and bug fixes and are FREE FOREVER (no matter what version you have). UPGRADES are feature additions to the program and are priced at $14.95 each (approx every 6 months for release)
- the 'lifetime pass' (or Premium Version') allows you FREE upgrades regardless of what changes are made to the program.
