| LC2 Lace carriage SK280
Fits all standard gauge machines. Includes 10 pre-punched cards. Additional sets of cards are available: Series 62 ,63, 64, & 65. The lace carriage (LC2) offers faster, easier knitting of transfer lace in single action just like plain knitting, and is capable of producing fashionable multiple transfer lace (pointelle). LC2 is a full functioning carriage, rather than just transfer mechanisms. In addition to plain knitting, it knits both simple and fashion lace so a single carriage knits and transfers, sometimes all in the same row. This is the fastest, smoothest and easiest way to knit beautiful lace garments. As straight forward as plain knitting, simple lace transfers and knits all in the same pass of the carriage. Fashion lace features a secondary pattern of traveling stitches that enhances the eyelet lace. This method requires two steps. After knitting two plain rows, the yarn is removed from the carriage and the empty carriage is passed across the bed to make the transfers. LC2 is also is capable of knitting isolated lace motifs. |

| AG50 Electronic Intarsia carriage for
SK840/580 with PE1
By eliminating the need to follow charts and count needles, the AG50 makes intarsia knitting fast and foolproof. It cuts you knitting time by half even more for especially complex designs! Needles are selected color by color, row by row and the PE1 display always tells you exactly which yarn to use. As each color group is knitted, the next is selected. Designs can be programmed for up to five color selections in a row and you can vary these choices at will so the color possibilities are limitless. The AG50 knits five different kinds of intarsia, some of which can be knitted with the EC1 alone, and can also be used as a conventional intarsia carriage to select entire rows at once. The most outstanding method allows you to knit a Fair Isle weight fabric with three or four or five colors in a row! This has never been possible before and the potential for designing with color is fantastic!

I use it for knitting both sides of a plain, striped, or intarsia neckline. Good for yarns that are too textured for the yarn mast, I hand lay the yarns. |
