This is for creating pictures, but no floats! You paint the picture by draping your yarn colors over the needles, and then knitting the colors in one pass of the knitting carriage.

I use this for knitting both halves of a neckline at the same time, knitting two baby/child sleeves, or the front and back of baby/child sweater at the same time. Anytime you want to knit identical pieces, this is the tool to use.
